Cavanaughs on the Falls
According to Donald K. Barbieri, Cavanaughs Hospitality Corporation’s President and CEO, “Its been our goal for many years to grow our business into the state of Idaho. We feel Idaho Falls is the perfect community to expand our hospitality operations, as it is the gateway to some of the most beautiful recreational areas in the country, as well as a regional hub for services and cultural opportunities in Eastern Idaho. It is amazing that within a two hour radius, visitors can explore the Grand Teton National Park, Craters of the Moon Monument, and Sun Valley Ski Resort. The over two million people that make Idaho Falls their gateway to Yellowstone Park are very fortunate to experience the beauty of this area. We have been impressed with the energy and vitality of the Idaho Falls community, and we are looking forward to contributing to the community’s existing rich quality of life.
Cavanaughs on the Falls, overlooks the picturesque water falls of the Snake River. A major renovation of the hotel guest rooms and public areas was completed in 1993 and 1994.
Cavanaughs on the Falls will participate in all current guest benefit programs, including Alaska Airlines and Horizon Air Mileage Plan and Dine Air partnerships, the Cavanaughs Cash promotion earning guests complimentary night stays, and strong corporate and leisure programs. The hotel will also now play a major role in the six-year-old Cavanaughs Cares program, where Cavanaughs Hotels throughout the chain provide more than $100,000 annually in complimentary accommodations to families of low-income patients undergoing crisis medical care.
